alright. christmas is over and so is appreciation cg.
been really really busy the past one week
ever since last saturday which was the first christmas service.


WEDNESDAY 26 DECEMBER
day after christmas.
met up for rehearsal at city hall for our performance for appreciation cg.
and pls bear in mind, our appreciation is on thursday 27 december.
so many problems happened that day.
i almost wanted to give up and just go home.
thank God we had some songs in mind and we just got to choose.
thank God for multiplying our time!
so many things got to be accomplished just in that one day.
got to make sure the performance is good and everyone know which part to sing, got to do up the video, got to call up the new friends who came for christmas, got to settle some issue.
and it was not as if we have got very little things to do, the laptop had to just go low batt and eventually die off.
at first, we were doing our preparation at the underpass that's leading from city link to esplanade.
and we got to produce our video and performance by 4.30pm.
i was still editing the video at 4pm while kangwei and ivan were practicing on their guitar.
so then, as i was saying, the laptop battery went flat and there was no powerpoint in sight.
you wont know how fast our hearts were beating, maybe only mine.
to come up with a performance within a few hours is not easy, neither is producing a video within that time.
and what made it worst was that i received a simple yet kind of condemning sms at that very point of time.

then we went over to esplanade to see if there was any powerpoint and we saw one at the lobby.
i felt kinda relieved then, but after 10min,
the security guard came over and said we cant use the powerpoint there.
so we left and hoping that we can use the powerpoint at the library.
we found it but was not able to use.
so i gave up the idea of doing the video first and headed to marina square's mac
there, we practice our song item at the open space.
and thank God, there was a powerpoint there and we managed to do our video there.
so kangwei went to edit the video while janice, sharon and i stayed outside to practice.
while practicing, received a call and this time it was even worst!
someone actually felt obliged to come for the rehearsal and it actually created such a tensed up atmosphere.
i would say i was really stressed up at that point of time.
glad it's all over now.
was supposed to meet wenhui to show her our performance and video at around 7plus - 8pm in the east.
but thank God, she called and ask if we still want to go down to show her our performance.
at that point, we werent really ready yet.
so we prefer we meet up the next day, before the actual cg starts.
settled some issues then and at that point of time,
i really feel like digging a hole and hide or just go to sleep and never wake up.
then some of them got to go off,
while kw and i stayed there till around 11pm to finish up the video.
then had a conference call with wenhui and we were told that we need to come up with a script for the appreciation cg and a powerpoint presentation for the award presentation.
so reached home at around 12plus and my eyes was glued to the laptop screen since then.
msned with kw and discuss about the video and script.
my day ended at around 4am.

THURSDAY 27 DECEMBER
CG APPRECIATION DAY.
woke up at around 8plus in the morning and the first thing was to edit the video pics and add some in to make it more interesting.
and time passed so quickly that it is already 12plus in the afternoon when i look at the clock.
we were supposed to reach mel lim's condo at 2pm to let wenhui see our performance.
kangwei and i was supposed to meet earlier to settle the video.
but, we got to do a lot of other things like to put in the nominees for the awards, that the time delayed and we reached mel lim's house at 3pm.
so we did our final rehearsal there, settled the video, settled the powerpoint, was supposed to copy the script out from the com but there was not enough time.
then we went down to the function room and practice our singing once more,
while the guys set up the tv, laptop and the amps.
been really busy practicing for our performance, making sure the pple are on their way, doing the last min changes of the presentation in the powerpoint.
and finally! cg started with the usual games, testimony, praise and worship and wenhui shared a short word.
then it was dinner time and everyone helped themselves with the buffet.
and it was time for our performance.
thank God everything went well.
i think it's really interesting to see pple performing.
then we watch the video and followed on by the award presentation.
everything ended at around 10pm and most of the members got to go off alrdy.
the rest of us went over to the pavilion to fellowship and then it was home sweet home.

FRIDAY 28 DECEMBER
alright. took this day off to do my school work.
ever since common test ended, i have been really busy then.
so worried that i cant finish them all by the time school starts.
of course, we also want to appreciate our leader. and so,
kw and i have been discussing what to do.
and God always never fail to give creative ideas.
so i spent the whole morning till afternoon doing up and editing the collage for the calendar..
it's quite fun once you get the hang of doing it.
so kw came over to get the pics and went to develop it.
so it was mum's treat to pizza hut for dinner,
took a break and went j8 for dinner with my sisters and kw.
after that, it was again back at my house doing wenhui's appreciation video.
angeline was also at my house, but she was doing their own cg video.
we were only 1/4 done at around 12am.
and i can forsee that kw dont have to go home alrdy.
and it was so true!
the time passed so fast like nobody's business
we were only 1/2 done when it was around 3am.
and we watch our childhood show "ma ma xian shen" while doing the video.
soon, the show ended and it was 5am.
then continue doing and doing and soon, it was 6am.
my alarm clock started to ring(i set it to ring at 6.15am everyday).
and then finally the video and everything was done,
and we view the video over and over again to make sure that there is no mistakes.
coz we were all so tired that our eyes were closing, so we might miss out some mistakes.
so kw and angeline left my house at around 7plus in the morning.
i was just telling angeline to see the colour of the sky at around 7am,
coz we started doing when the sky was dark.
what a long day i had!
so interesting!

seriously, im still very amazed by what we have produced in just one week!
